How the SnoreMasker® Pro Works
Each SnoreMasker® Pro Earpiece is fitted with a soft poly-urethane foam tip. We chose this material for our ear tips because poly-urethane foam is the best noise insulating material available, while also being very comfortable, even for extended wear. These soft foam ear tips block all kinds of noises, including snoring, the neighbor's TV, and many other sounds. This means that most sounds are prevented from entering your ear.

If you have already tried foam earplugs, you already know that no ear plug can block all the noise you hear, especially very loud snoring.  The foam tips on SnoreMasker® Pro will not block all the noise, either. What they will do is reduce the volume you hear by 20-25 dB, or by about 75%, and that's where SnoreMasker® Pro's built-in masking sound generator comes in.

SnoreMasker® Pro provides two layers of sound protection.  First, the soft foam ear-tips reduce the amount of unwanted noise that enters your ear.  Second, the SnoreMasker® Pro produces a gentle, soothing white noise sound that will mask much of the remaining noise you can hear, giving you nearly total isolation from virtually all sound up to 70 dB -- about the sound level of a loud alarm clock.

SnoreMasker® Pro provides both sound blocking and noise masking, to make sleep possible again.
